Riley

My friend Mauricio called me one night and asked if I would be willing to keep a puppy that wandered into his yard. He and his wife had a newborn and two dogs and it just wasn't possible to keep him overnight. I agreed and his plan was to take the puppy to the shelter the next day. The rest is history and Riley is now my lifelong companion and I wouldn't give him up for anything.

I call him my special needs dog. He is guided by fear and besides me, has yet to make friends with another male. He warms up to females after a bit and is then their best friend.
